<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide encoder devices and an encoder device switching system and switching method for enabling seamless switching of streams output from the respective encoder devices without limiting an image improvement function in a steady state. <P>SOLUTION: An encoder device switching system comprises: plural encoder devices 101 and 102 each outputting a stream including time information according to GOP and frame decimation phases obtained by decimation and compression encoding of frames of an input video signal; a switching device 104 for switching the streams from the plural encoder devices 101 and 102 to output one stream; and a control device 105 for, when the streams are switched by the switching device 104, performing control so that the GOP phases and frame decimation phases of the plural encoder devices 101 and 102 match each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
