<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium ejection device that can suppress unnecessary contact of auxiliary ejection members with the medium or peripheral devices, and to provide a recording apparatus including the medium ejection device. <P>SOLUTION: A conveying device includes: a driving roller 24 that is disposed in a conveying path of a cut sheet CS; a driven roller 34 that moves a nip position where the cut sheet CS is nipped between the driving roller 24 when the cut sheet CS is conveyed, and moves to a standby position separated form the conveying path when conveyance of the cut sheet CS is completed; and the auxiliary ejection member 69 that has a protrusion 69b protruding to the conveying path and contacting with a rear end portion of the cut sheet CS on the conveying path and that ejects the cut sheet CS outward the conveying path when the driven roller 34 moves from the nip position to the standby position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
