<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, capable of automatically switching television broadcast presently viewed, to an optimal channel even during movement. <P>SOLUTION: While the television broadcast is viewed during the movement, position measurement by a GPS function is repeated whenever a preset constant time elapses. As a predicted passage point p3 passing in the future, a position being located on a straight line path L of an extended line of a straight-line connection between, for example, a first-time GPS measured point p1 of the measurement result obtained immediately before and, for example, a second-time GPS measured point p2 of the measurement result at the present time, and being moved from the measurement result position of the present time by a preset distance D, is predicted. In the movement direction of a mobile terminal 1 toward the predicted passage point p3, a channel CH2 of a broadcast area B having the largest reception field strength (for example, an area in which a broadcast station b nearest to the straight line path L exists) is extracted from among channels in an adjacent broadcast area, in which the program is presently broadcast by the identical television broadcast group to that presently viewed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
