<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide control device for a vehicle seat, where slide amount of the vehicle seat is variable according to the size of an opening of a door so that the vehicle seat is made not to slide more than is necessary when leaving the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The slide control device for the vehicle seat has such a configuration that: the slide amount toward the rear of the vehicle seat 3 is variable according to the size of the opening of a door 2; the slide amount of the vehicle seat 3 is set to be short if the size of the opening of the door 2 is large, namely a driver easily leaves the vehicle; and the slide amount of the vehicle seat 3 is set to be long if the size of the opening of the door 2 is small, namely if the driver has difficulties in leaving the vehicle. The control secures good getting-off of the vehicle and further eliminates the troublesomeness caused when the vehicle seat 3 is made to slide to move more than is necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
