Provided is a planetary gear mechanism equipped with: planetary gears; planetary pins that support the planetary gears; a carrier that supports the planetary pins; and a housing that houses the planetary gears, the planetary pins, and at least a portion of the carrier. A slide bearing enables the planetary gears to rotate with respect to the planetary pins. A lubricant oil supply passage for supplying lubricant oil to the surface of the slide bearing is formed within the carrier. The carrier receives lubricant oil through the lubricant oil supply passage from a lubricant oil supplying member that is statically affixed with respect to the housing. An inlet that receives the lubricant oil in the lubricant oil supply passage of the carrier from the lubricant oil supplying member is positioned within the housing.
