PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace an area in which a left image and a right image are independently displayed in two dimensions on a display section with an image different from an area displayed in three dimensions, in order to facilitate phase adjustment of the left and right images.

SOLUTION: A signal processor 10 comprises a phase matching section 4 for matching the phases of a left image signal and a right image signal input from two cameras that are arranged according to the distance between left and right eyes of a human and image the same subject. The signal processor 10 further comprises a phase adjustment section 6 for changing the horizontal phase of the left image signal and/or the right image signal based on a phase displacement specified by an operation section 9. The phase adjustment section 6 moves both or either of the left image and the right image displayed on a display section by the left image signal and the right image signal by a predetermined distance in the horizontal direction so as to output the left image signal and the right image signal with changed parallaxes between the left image and the right image. A read section 7 outputs the left image signal and/or the right image signal in which an area displayed in two dimensions is replaced with an image different from an area displayed in three dimensions.
