PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "digital television receiver" capable of dissolving unpleasantness generated when displaying a 3D video program on a display part not coping with the 3D video program.

SOLUTION: A digital television receiver (100) displays video images of a broadcast program of a channel tuned in a receiver (12) which receives digital television broadcast on a display part (13). The digital television receiver (100) includes: 3D video program determination means (11) for determining whether or not the broadcast program of the tuned channel is the 3D video program which can be displayed by 3D video images by a left visual field video image and a right visual field video image; and display control means (11) for not displaying at least one of the left visual field video image and right visual field video image of the broadcast program of the tuned channel on the display part (13) when it is determined that the broadcast program of the tuned channel is the 3D video program.
