<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element manufacturing method capable of obtaining an organic electroluminescent element which restrains occurrences of short-circuiting by reducing defects occurring in an organic layer due to the presence of metal pieces or foreign matters in an electrode layer to improve the voltage resistance of the organic electroluminescent element. <P>SOLUTION: Presented here is a manufacturing method for an organic electroluminescent element comprising a pair of electrode layers which include a translucent electrode layer 2 provided on a translucent substrate 1 and an organic layer, held between the pair of electrodes, which includes a hole injection layer 30, a hole transport layer 30e, an emissive layer, and an electron transport layer. In the manufacturing method, a hole injection layer material, the hole injection layer material and a hole transport layer material, and the hole transport layer material are deposited in that order on the translucent electrode layer formed on the translucent substrate. During or after the deposition of these materials, they are heated to a temperature above their glass transition temperatures to form the hole injection layer, the hole transport layer, and an intermediate layer 30d lying between these layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
