<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate characteristics of an echo route for high efficiency of adaptive control of an echo canceller having an adaptive filter even in the case of multiple reflection with one or a plurality of echo generation points. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention extracts a first signal component in a predetermined band of a first input signal, shifts the first signal component to a predetermined low band and performs downsampling of the first signal component, and then extracts a second signal component in a predetermined band of a second input signal received through an echo route, shifts the second signal component to a predetermined low band and performs downsampling of the second signal component. Also, the present invention estimates an impulse response in the echo route, based on the downsampled first signal component and second signal component and estimates echo route characteristics of the echo route, based on the estimated impulse response waveform of the echo route. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
