<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a putter head which can be used for learning ideal putting skills and can be also used as an official putter on a golf course. <P>SOLUTION: A body section is mounted on the back of head body 11. The body section is formed with a main guide gutter 20 opening upward. The main guide gutter 20 goes through the sweet spot of a hitting face 11A in a horizontal plane projecting vertically and extends in the perpendicular direction to the hitting face 11A. In the main guide gutter 20, sub-guide gutters 21 and 22 are formed continuously from the main guide gutter 20 to extend in the directions of the tow and heel sides of the head body 11.
