<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve notification matched with the traveling state of an own vehicle in an information providing device. <P>SOLUTION: In information notification processing, when a state during traveling is "travel permission", notification of the state of being able to recognize the permission of an own vehicle to pass within a cycle is executed (S150). On the other hand, in the case of "travel prohibition (excluding the state during outputting of an arrow signal)", notification of information is not executed (that is, nonexecution) (S155). However, when a state during traveling is "arrow signal", if an own vehicle traveling path matches a road permitted by the "arrow signal", notification of the information of the state of being able to recognize the permission of the own vehicle to pass within the cycle is executed (S150).
