<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heading machine, in which the maintenance about an internal examination, part replacement and the like are facilitated by enhancing the disassembly workability of a cover to cover the periphery and upper part of a heading body part and which has excellent oil resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The heading machine 1 includes: a base 2; a heading body part 3 arranged on the base 2 and executing the heading machining by a punch and die while using coolant; and a cover 8 for covering the periphery and upper part of the heading body part 3. The cover 8 includes: frame members 5 arranged around and above the heading body part 3 and having the predetermined mechanical strength; and a plurality of panel members 61-73 which are attachably/detachably mounted on at least one of the frame members 5, the base 2 and the heading body part 3, and connected to one another to cover the periphery and upper part of the heading body part 3. Further, the frame members 5 are constituted using pipe materials having an internal space.
