<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pan 5 that has a flange 6 for connecting to the internal combustion engine 1 and in which the drain port 15 to which the drain plug 16 is detachably threaded is boredly arranged in the bottom plate 7, in which the breakage of the drain plug is reduced without making deep-draw work of the oil pan difficult. <P>SOLUTION: The inclining plate 13 inclining obliquely forward from the lowest and deepest part 11 of the bottom plate to the side face plate 9 in the oil pan is arranged in the bottom plate 7, part of the inclining plate is recessedly formed in the flat plane parallel to the flange or recessedly formed in the flat plane substantially parallel to the flange in the inclining plate, thereby the flat face plate 14 is arranged, and the drain port 15 is boredly arranged in the flat plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
