The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing illumination apparatus, including the following steps: a) providing a plurality of bases (1) conductively connected together in series by electrical wire (2); b) providing a plurality of LED modules (5); and c) electrically connecting each LED module onto the electrical wire and mounting each LED module onto its corresponding base. The method according to the present invention can improve the production speed. In addition, the method according to the present invention can improve the production yield and can manufacture illumination apparatus with good waterproofing performance, and further can realize small voltage drop.
