PURPOSE: A device for transferring a casting roll is provided to reduce physical shock by preventing nippers from directly touching the surface of a roll. CONSTITUTION: A device for transferring a casting roll comprises nippers(10) and insulation members(31). The nippers are connected to a transfer unit and grip a roll(3) through blades(12,13). The insulation members are formed in a plate shape and are installed in parts of the blades touching the roll. The insulation members cut off a heat exchange phenomenon between the blades and the roll.
