<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer cover member that, when mounted on an exterior surface as a substitute of a paper supply tray, improves the operability of a handle member of an adjacent paper supply tray, and to provide an image forming device having the outer cover member. <P>SOLUTION: The outer cover member is mounted on the exterior surface as the substitute of a paper supply tray 11 at least at a paper supply tray storage part 13 except for the uppermost stage among vertically arranged paper supply tray storage parts 13. In an outer cover member 14, a recessed shape 15 is formed near a handle member 12 such that the handle member 12 of the paper supply tray 11 projects toward a drawing out direction B.
