PURPOSE: A method for generating a multiple-rate quasi-cyclic LDPC(Multiple-Rate Quasi-Cyclic Low Density Parity Check Code) based on euclidean geometries and an apparatus thereof are provided to generate a multiple-rate quasi-cyclic LDPC(Multiple-Rate Quasi-Cyclic Low Density Parity Check Code) by sing an existing hardware system. CONSTITUTION: A base matrix B having a parallel bundle of a first flat column and a second flat row at Euclidean geometry(S110). The number of 1 is replaced with a CPM(Circulant Permutation Matrix) in the base matrix B. The number of 0 is replaced with a zero matrix in the base matrix B. A parent matrix HM is obtained(S120). A valid matrix HEj is obtained by combining block rows of the parent matrix HM(S130). Rows combined with the parent matrix do not include 1 in the same column. Each distribution of check nodes of a valid code and a parental code is focused. Small stopping sets are avoided.
