The invention relates to a rolling bearing cage (2) for cylindrical rolling bodies of a rolling bearing, comprising two ring shelves (4, 6) axially adjacent to the cage and a plurality of bridges (10) arranged between the ring shelves and adjacent to the rolling body pockets (8), wherein first holding surfaces (12) for holding the rolling bodies radially inward and two holding surfaces (16) for holding the rolling bodies radially outward are formed on said bridges. According to the invention, the first holding surfaces (12) forming the inner holder are each formed on the axially outer ends of the bridges (10) close to the ring shelf so that the operationally generated forces acting thereupon cause only minor bending torque. The second holding surfaces (16) are arranged axially within the first holding surfaces (12) and designed so that the rolling bodies do not come into contact with said surfaces in the mounted state of the rolling bearing, that is, also in operation, so that the bridges (10) are not stressed by said holding surfaces (16).
