<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker that changes a heating power in an automatic cooking course to a heating power appropriate for a cooking amount of rice in a stage earlier than conventional cooking amount determination performed by using load detection means. <P>SOLUTION: The heating cooker comprises cooking amount determination means 8 determining a cooking amount during heating based on a time period until detecting a change of a temperature gradient in a pot into negative.
