<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image shake correction mechanism and an image pickup device which can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: A pitch actuator 165 and a yaw actuator 166 are placed at positions opposite to an image pickup element 170 across a first orthogonal plane E which is orthogonal to a first side H1 and includes a second side H2.
