<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device, capable of stably performing an overlapping conveyance of sheets with high accuracy, regardless of the size, basis weight, and kind of sheets, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet feeding device 312 for sucking and conveying the sheet floated by blowing the air adjusts the timing for sucking a subsequent sheet Sb by a suction conveyance mechanism 151 of the device.
