VIDEO GAME DEVICE, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video game device that allows a user to immerse in a virtual world on a game and that can provide new entertainment to users.

SOLUTION: The game device is for playing a video game. A storage unit 31 previously stores a plurality of game images GG and image hit information GH indicating targets set for the game images GG. The game device includes an image extraction unit 41 for extracting an extracted image PG as a designated partial area by letting the user designate a partial area of a game image GG displayed; an image writing unit 43 for writing the extracted image PG acquired by the image extraction unit 41 in the storage unit 31; and an image hit determining unit 42 for determining whether or not the extracted image PG hits a target. The game device creates a list of extracted images PG determined by the image hit determining unit 42 to hit the target out of the extracted images PG stored in the storage unit 31, and displays the list.
