<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of image quality due to the change of a dither pattern in skew correction in an optical writing device. <P>SOLUTION: An image information acquiring part 123 stores information on pixels that constitute an image in a line memory 122 for each main scanning line, and a light emission controller 121 makes an LEDA 281 to expose a photoreceptor drum 109 in a cycle corresponding to resolution obtained by doubling resolution in the subscanning direction of the image, thereby performing exposure for one main scanning line in original resolution with exposure for two cycles. While the LEDA 281 performs the exposure for N cycles, the light emission controller 121 reads the information on the pixels of one main scanning line in the line memory 122 continuously twice, and controls the LEDA 281 with one cycle as a light turn-off line in which the LEDA 281 is turned off. According to skew information, the light emission controller 121 reads the information on the pixels stored in the line memory 122 while shifting it in the subscanning direction at different positions for each main scanning line, and a shift amount is fitted in the light turn-off line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
