<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector easily attachable to an attaching component without using any pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape. <P>SOLUTION: The protector 14 is interposed between a trunk lid 12 of a vehicle 11 and a rear spoiler 13 mounted to the trunk lid 12, and includes a projection 16 comprising elastomer that can be inserted to a recessed groove 20 provided at the rear spoiler 13.
