<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit of a switching device, which can perform a thermal shutdown by estimating a temperature of a power device with high accuracy without increasing the number of terminals. <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit 10 includes: an output part 2 for controlling an operation current flowing in an insulated gate bipolar transistor 21 based on an input signal Vs; a temperature detection part 4 for outputting a detection signal when the insulated gate bipolar transistor 21 starts an operation and a temperature of the control circuit 10 rises higher than a second preset temperature set corresponding to a first preset temperature of the insulated gate bipolar transistor 21; and an output control part 3 for controlling the output part 2 so as to turn off the insulated gate bipolar transistor 21 in response to the detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
