The system has a coating unit for coating a substrate (10) of thin film solar cell (1), at front end. A grinding unit is provided at the back end of the coating unit, for grinding the coated substrate. The grinding unit is provided with grinding wheel (82) made of abrasive materials comprising silicon carbide and/or polyurethane. The grinding wheel is positioned against the surface to be grinded.
