The technical solution relates to technical means for managing road traffic using motorways and can be used in road signs. The road sign comprises a housing, at least one transparent panel with a graphic image, an internal lighting source and a power supply unit. The road sign is additionally equipped with a light sensor for ensuring flexible control of the light-emitting diode lighting depending on the time of day, and a motion sensor for regulating the brightness of the road sign depending on the presence of road users and the distance of said road users from the road sign. The transparent panel is formed from polycarbonate. The internal lighting source is in the form of an array of light-emitting diodes mounted so as to allow the emitted light to be introduced into the transparent panel. In order to improve the uniformity of the brightness of the sign, geometric ribs are applied to the rear surface of the panel. The technical results of the present technical solution consist in increasing the operating efficiency of the device for controlling the lighting depending on the time of day and the light intensity, which changes depending on the distance from the road sign, as well as significantly reducing the power consumption and ensuring that the product has a high degree of reliability and a long fault-free service life.
