A laser speckle suppression device comprises a linearly-polarized-light generator (501), an image display system (502) for projecting and displaying linearly-polarized-light, an optical rotator (201) connected between the linearly-polarized-light generator (501) and the image display system (502), and a modulation power supply (202) for providing a modulation pulse voltage to the optical rotator (201). The optical rotator (201) converts the input linearly-polarized-light into orthogonal output linearly-polarized-light under the driving of the magnetic force produced by the modulation pulse voltage.
