PURPOSE: A dual mass flywheel is provided to improve fuel efficiency and to improve abrasion resistance by reducing the abrasion on the connection part between a spring cap and housing. CONSTITUTION: A dual mass flywheel comprises a first mass(3), a second mass(5), and a damping unit(7). The first mass installs on the crank shaft of the automotive engine. The second mass installs on the clutch shaft of the automobile transmission in order to be combined with the first mass. The damping unit is allowed in the first mass and the second mass. The damping unit damps the rotary vibration generating in the first mass and the second mass.
