<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for a vehicle equipped with a projection optical system and with an illuminance change alleviated in the vicinity of a cut line. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight 1 for a vehicle is to be structured of a light source 10, a projection optical system equipped with a projection lens 20 for projecting images formed by light beams emitted from the light source toward front of the vehicle, and a reflection optical system fitted at a position offset from the projection lens as seen from the front of the vehicle, and equipped with a parabolic reflector 60 reflecting the light beams emitted from the light source and irradiating it toward front of the vehicle. The reflector is to be equipped with a light distribution pattern for irradiating a region including the cut line CL, and the projection optical system has a light distribution pattern for irradiating a region under the reflector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
