<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device 1 which allows a user to easily superpose an image on a scenery actually seen. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 1 has a display part 13, an extraction part 23b for extracting an object image specified by the user from an original image, and a display control part 23b for controlling the display part 13. The display part 13 can be set to a see-though state in which a scenery behind the display part can be seen.
