<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of suppressing a defective display due to attenuation of signal, and further to provide a projector and a control method of the image display device. <P>SOLUTION: A controller receives input operation for starting to set correction amount first. More specifically, the controller receives operation for selecting an item of "an HDMI1 EQ setting" or "an HDMI2 EQ setting" in an input signal menu Gi displayed in response to menu key operation on an operation panel or on a remote controller and subsequent predetermined operation. And then, the controller provides an instruction to an OSD processing section to display a setting image (setting value selection menu) for setting correction amount. The controller further receives input operation for setting correction amount, i.e. the input operation for selecting a setting value corresponding to the correction amount with the setting image displayed. Thereafter the controller further provides the instruction to an equalizer to correct an image signal with set correction amount, i.e. the correction amount based on a selected setting value in the setting image and to equalize the image signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
