<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a waiting time from a printing instruction request until the start of printing even when printing conditions are changed immediately before the start of printing. <P>SOLUTION: When an image forming apparatus receives printing data together with printing conditions, a printing condition change pattern preparing part 61f of a printer application 61 prepares a predetermined number of printing condition change patterns other than the received printing conditions, based on equipment information. Based on the printing conditions and printing condition change patterns, a PDL processing part 61e generates plotting data from the printing data, and stores the printing conditions, the printing condition change patterns and the plotting data correspondingly in a data storage section 14. On request of printing, a print control part 61a takes out, from the data storage section 14, the plotting data corresponding to the original printing conditions or the plotting data corresponding to the same printing condition change pattern as the change printing conditions if the original printing conditions are changed, and allows an engine to form an image on paper utilizing a function required for the printing conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
