HIERARCHICALLY CODED DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, RADIO BASE STATION, USER TERMINAL, AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable hierarchically coded data which has been encoded to have plural layers differing in quality to be transmitted by an appropriate component carrier suitable to each layer.

SOLUTION: The hierarchically coded data transmission method of the prevent invention is a hierarchically coded data transmission method for transmitting hierarchically coded data which has been encoded to have plural layers differing in quality, including a step of allocating to the hierarchically coded data in each layer a component carrier which is the basic unit of a frequency band used in communication with user terminals and a step for a radio base station to transmit the hierarchically coded data in each layer to user terminals by using the component carrier allocated to each layer.
