PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable organic thin-film solar cell whose fill factor, open-circuit voltage, and photoelectric conversion efficiency are high, and to provide an organic semiconductor material included in the same.

SOLUTION: The organic photoelectric conversion element includes: a negative electrode; a positive electrode; a bulk heterojunction layer where a p-type semiconductor material and an n-type semiconductor material are mixed; and includes, between the bulk heterojunction layer and the negative electrode, at least a layer of a compound represented by the following general formula (1).
