<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing a counterpart connector from coming off unexpectedly. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal 40 is formed with a contact portion 42 which receives a counterpart contact portion 22 formed on a counterpart terminal 20 and comes in contact with the counterpart contact portion. The contact portion 42 has a contact piece 44 which has a plate surface intersecting a receiving and extracting directions of the counterpart contact portion, and is formed in a fork shape on both sides of a groove portion 42A penetrating in a plate thickness direction. The counterpart contact portion 22 enters the groove portion to contact with an opposite inner edge of the contact piece 44. A housing 31 has a regulating portion 37A which abuts on the contact piece 44 of the terminal 40 to regulate the displacement of the contact piece 44 in the extracting direction of the counterpart contact portion when extracting the counterpart contact portion 22. The contact piece 44 has a regulated portion 44D which can abut on the regulating portion 37A. The regulating portion 37A and the regulated portion 44D are formed with acting portions which act so as to narrow the width of the groove portion 42A of the contact piece 44 when abutting on each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
