<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which can reduce stress applied to a developer in a developer accumulation potion in which the developer whose movement is regulated by a developer regulating member stays, and stably maintain excellent image quality for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device including a developing roller 34 which carries a developer 32 including toner and carrier on the surface thereof and is moved along the surface thereof, a developer regulating member 35 which is arranged opposite to the developing roller 34 via a predetermined gap between the developer regulating member 35 and the developing roller 34 and regulates an amount of the developer carried on the developing roller 34, and a supply screw 39 which is arranged adjacent to the developing roller 34 and conveys the developer supplied to the developing roller 34 further includes a developer loosening member 45 whose movement is regulated by the developer regulating member 35 and which divides the developer 32 accumulated between the developer regulating member 35 and the supply screw 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
