<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability of a drive unit. <P>SOLUTION: A drive unit 33 of a power slide device includes a motor 43 with a deceleration mechanism, which comprises a motor body 41 and the deceleration mechanism for decelerating output of the motor body 41 so as to transfer it to an output shaft 55. A tensioner case 61 is attached to the motor 43 with the deceleration mechanism. A drum 65, which is fixed to the output shaft 55 and over which a cable is looped, and tensioner mechanisms 67a and 67b for applying tension to the cable are housed in the tensioner case 61. The tensioner case 61 is opened on the other side of the motor 43 with the deceleration mechanism, and its opening is closed with a bracket 71.
