HOLLOW FIBER MODULE FOR CELL CULTURE AND METHOD FOR CELL CULTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent collection loss of cultured cells.

SOLUTION: The hollow fiber module for cell culture is composed of a biodegradable material that includes more than one hollow fiber having a function as a semipermeable membrane. The module also includes: a hollow fiber bundle 30 for supplying the cells existing in an extracapillary space (ECS) with an essential component for growth, by supplying a culture solution to an internal space of hollow fiber; and a housing for storing the hollow fiber bundle 30. The module has a structure that an optional part of the housing 20 is detachable and at least a part of the hollow fiber bundle 30 is exposed to the outside. There is also provided a method for cell culture using the hollow fiber module.
