<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urethane resin which, even when the molecular weight lowers by melt mixing, outdoor exposure or the like, can recover the molecular weight, achieves improved yield in melt kneading, exhibits high weather resistance, and can reduce the amount of additives. <P>SOLUTION: The urethane resin contains a diisocyanate structural unit represented by general formula I and a diol structural unit represented by general formula II, and has an isocyanate group content of ≥0.1 wt.%.
