<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for locking the rotation of an electric motor mechanically under any rotation angle of a driving shaft of the electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: The safety device is loaded to the electric motor for moving an elevator car along a shaft. The safety device includes a disk and a rod. The disk is attached vertically at the end of the driving shaft of the electric motor, and has a plurality of long circular-arc shaped holes along the same circumference from the center of the driving shaft at equal intervals. It has at least two rods which are arranged from the center of the driving shaft at the distance the same as the long holes are and displace respectively in the direction penetrating the long holes of the disk along the driving shaft. Moreover, while the car arrives at a floor and opens a door device, at least the one rod penetrates one of the long holes of the disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
