ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the drive voltage of a dope type element including a light-emitting layer in which a small amount of guest materials is added to a host material, particularly a dope type element in which a red-light-emitting material with an electron attractive group is added as the guest material, and improve the color purity of the dope type element while reducing the drive voltage, particularly the dope type element in which a red-light-emitting material with an electron attractive group is added as the guest material.

SOLUTION: An electroluminescent element includes a light-emitting layer 513 containing a host material 521 and a guest material 522 with an electron attractive group. An organic compound with a hole transportation property is used as the host material 521.
