摘要 <p>The method comprises supplying a working cylinder of an internal combustion engine fuel and a combustion air. The fuel is a mixture of two types of fuel. The fuel types are supplied to the working cylinder from separate storage containers or storage containers in which two or more fuel types are fed. The mixing of the fuel types is carried out after a removal of the storage containers. The fuel is mixed together from the two types of fuel before or after supplying the working cylinder. The fuel or the fuel types is directly injected into the working cylinder. The method comprises supplying a working cylinder of an internal combustion engine fuel and a combustion air. The fuel is a mixture of two types of fuel. The fuel types are supplied to the working cylinder from separate storage containers or storage containers in which two or more fuel types are fed. The mixing of the fuel types is carried out after a removal of the storage containers. The fuel is mixed together from the two types of fuel before or after supplying the working cylinder. The fuel or the fuel types is directly injected into the working cylinder. A portion of the fuel types is selected in a total mixture of the fuel in such a way that: a fuel consumption is minimized; a driven distance of a motor vehicle equipped with the internal combustion engine is maximized and/or a range of a motor vehicle equipped with the internal combustion engine is maximized; and a value of a quantity of pollutants falls in an exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine such as carbon dioxide, soot, nitrogen oxide (NO x), hydrocarbon and/or carbon monoxide, and a predetermined limit value. The portion of the fuel types is selected in the total mixture of the fuel depending: on a filling level in the storage containers of the fuel types and a respective purchase price for the respective fuel types in such a way that the fuel costs are minimized under consideration of a motor efficiency by using a respective fuel mixture; on a predetermined operating limit for an operating parameter in such a way that an output power is maximized by the internal combustion engine; and on a filling quantity of the storage containers of the different fuel types in such a way that two storage containers, and the predetermined filling levels such as a minimum filling level are simultaneously refilled. A price is set as the purchase price, at a destination or an intermediate target of the motor vehicle equipped with the internal combustion engine. The operating parameter is a peak cylinder pressure, a pressure gradient, a fuel pump power, air utilization, and an exhaust gas temperature. The predetermined limit value is selected in dependent on a geographical location and/or a current time and/or a current weekday and/or a current calendar date at which the internal combustion engine is located. The values for conditions are recorded for selecting the portions of the fuel types in the total mixture of fuel with respect to the internal combustion engine of external information sources such as internet, satellite-navigation device, data from a driving profile of a driver and the motor vehicle equipped with the internal combustion engine.</p>
