PURPOSE: A bipolar secondary battery is provided to prevent short current from a conductor through a current collector in case the conductor is embedded into a generating member through a current collector. CONSTITUTION: A bipolar secondary battery(100) comprises a generating member(1) in which unit powder generation elements(6), in which bipolar electrodes(7) are laminated through electrolyte layers(8), are laminated; a current collector(2) arranged in both end parts from the direction of the unit powder generation elements, and contacted to the generating member; and a tension-holding unit(3) maintaining the current collector with the state tension is applied along the in-plane direction of the current collector. The current collector comprises a conductive member(17) contacting to the generating member, and an elastic unit(1) contacting to the conductive member.
