PURPOSE: A composition containing Oldenlandia diffusa(Willd.) Roxburgh is provided to suppress prostate cancer cell growth and to effectively treat prostate cancer. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating prostate cancer contains Oldenlandia diffusa(Willd.) Roxburgh. An anticancer composition contains Oldenlandia diffusa(Willd.) Roxburgh and additionally contains pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluents. The composition is singly administered or is used by alternatively administering with other cancer therapy such as radiation or chemotherapy.
