PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose an internet telematics service providing system and a providing method which provide travel information to improve fuel consumption.

SOLUTION: An internet telematics service providing system connected to a telematics system in a vehicle and a communication terminal of a user comprises: a data reception unit for receiving travel data concerning fuel consumption of the vehicle from the telematics system; a data recording unit for recording the travel data in a Web page related to the user; a data provision unit for providing the travel data recorded in the Web page for the telematics system and/or the communication terminal by a web service; a guide generation unit for generating travel guide information for the vehicle by using the travel data; and a guide provision unit for providing the travel guide information for the user via the telematics system and/or the communication terminal.
