摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly detect the voltage of a battery cell by detecting disconnection of all voltage detection lines. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device includes a plurality of battery units 10, and each of the battery units 10 includes: a battery block 2 in which a plurality of battery cells 3 are connected in series; a voltage detection circuit 4 which detects the voltage of each of the battery cells 3 through a voltage detection line 6; a power source circuit 5 which supplies an operation power to the voltage detection circuit 4 from the battery block 2; and a disconnection detecting circuit 8 which detects disconnection of the voltage detection line 6 based on a detected voltage of the voltage detection circuit 4. The battery blocks 2 consisting of battery units 10 are connected together in series to constitute a battery pack 1. In the power supply device, the battery block 2 of one or more battery units 10 is connected to an imbalance resistor 12 which increases power consumption of the battery block 2, so that a current flows the voltage detection line 6 connected to a connection point 16 between the battery block 2 connected to the imbalance resistor 12 and an adjoining battery block 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
