<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound machine capable of reducing the standby time of a user in a system to be operated by allowing an application to be operated on an external information processor to coordinate with the function of the compound machine. <P>SOLUTION: A compound machine 21 includes: an image formation part 3 having a normal operation mode and a standby mode with lower power consumption compared with the normal operation mode; a second web server part 8 for acquiring a command generated by an external application part 54; and a control application part 23 for determining whether or not the acquired command is a particular command to indicate the execution of processing, which is related to a specified function to operate the image formation part 3 and also is pre-processing to be performed before operating the specified function, and, when the determination indicates the particular command, starting warm-up to shift the image formation part 3 from the standby mode to the normal operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
