<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze a behavior of a particle as accurately as possible while shortening the analysis period in the case of using a DEM for analyzing the behavior in a large-scale facility. <P>SOLUTION: In a particle data storing step, a normal calculation using a DEM is performed until a particle data storage position 301 is passed. Then, the particle is prevented from being affected by force applied from another particle or a structure until a calculation object exclusion position 302 is passed. Here, information of the particle when passing the particle data storage position 301 is stored. Then, after passing the calculation object exclusion position 302, the particle is excluded from calculation objects. In a particle data reading step, a particle is generated at a particle data generation position 402 on the basis of the stored information of the particle, and the particle is prevented from being affected by force applied from another particle or a structure until a calculation object position 401 is passed.
