<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens system, an image pickup device, and a camera having high resolution, capable of sufficiently adapting to a wide-angle shot with an angle of view at a wide-angle end of substantially 80° despite a small size, and having a significantly large zoom ratio of 12. <P>SOLUTION: A zoom lens system, an image pickup device and a camera each of which comprises, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens group having a positive power, and at least one subsequent lens group, in a zooming action from the wide-angle end to the telephoto end during image pickup, the interval between the first lens group and the subsequent lens group changes, at least one of the entire lens elements satisfies conditions: 0.0002399×vd<SP POS="POST">2</SP>-0.0123×vd+0.8157-θgF<0(vd<23) or θgF>0.66(23≤vd<80) or conditions:0.00325×vd+0.69-θgF>0(ω<SB POS="POST">W</SB>>77, where vd represents the Abbe number relative to d line of a lens element, θgF represents a partial dispersion ratio of g line to F line of the lens element, and ω<SB POS="POST">W</SB>represents a field angle at the wide-angle end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
